Life as a Second Semester Senior
Yesterday I was reflecting on the fact that after this semester, I will no longer constantly be surrounded by fellow academics constantly typing up papers, solving mathematical problems, and trading lab notes on an everyday basis. This semester I have been looking forward to graduation, but I have also realized that this is the last time that my life is going to resemble being around such a diverse grouping of peers who are studying such different topics than I am. I am now trying to soak up all that is around me on campus and instead of developing Senioritis. I am striving to enjoy and take advantage of having the privilege of gaining so much knowledge each day. Being a second semester Senior is an interesting time in one's life. It is exciting to have so many possibilities after graduation, but it is also an extreme shift in someone's life that will take adjusting. This is a bittersweet time and I am ready to enjoy each day but also look forward to the future.
