"Spiteful? Pish-posh why shouldn't I be spiteful? You would sooner hear the sun proclaim itself cold or the stars say that they aren't jealous of the moon's splendor than hear me say kaloo kalay! I now longer feel hatred towards those who would push me in the dirt! You have no idea how much pain they have caused me. When a majestic eagle has been told that it is nothing but a dull dove and beaten when it refuse this role do you think it will still accept the lower form? Of course not you imbecile! This eagle has spread his wings, sore as they are, and has his eyes set on some doves as well.
If there is one good aspect of those years of torment it is that I have learned the importance of the roles we play. I may have been a lion stuck in a hyena's guise, but I learned how to play the hyena well. The yessir, the thank you, may I have another, the of course it wasn't me sir. The appearance of being weak was more important to them than actually being weak, and that shall be their downfall. The masks we wear never quite show the real thing, but everyone seems to be too focused on their own to worry about what mask their neighbors and servants wear. I wonder what's hiding underneath the mask you wear? No, no, no, don't tell me. I'd rather let you stew while you think about it.
You see, I know the importance of masks. However, I have never deluded myself into thinking it's who I am. I may appear to be a helpful hand, or the voice of a revolution, but I know who I truly am. I'm a man fueled by spite and anger who will not rest until everything in my way is crumpled into ash and bone. And all those people who scorned my presence and laughed at me will know that they are truly doomed. That's why I do the theatrics, it is just another mask, albeit a more literal one. It's so they know that it is not just a man coming after them, but death itself and that they are gnats compared to my horrifying resplendence. Hahahahaha!
Say, have you figured out who are underneath the mask yet? Spare me the details, frankly I don't care. Though I hope you've made peace with him, as soon you two will be nothing but pieces."
